Why is HR trashing your Resume?

The rejection parameters usually are:

?️ Location: If you are applying for outstation jobs, be clear in mentioning that you are willing to relocate on the resume & cover letter.

?️ Lengthy Resume – Trust me HR get loads of resumes and if you’re going to make it look like a novel, you will surely be binned. Stick to 1 or 2 pages max.

?️ Grammar Errors – Homophone mistakes, incorrect sentence formation, apostrophes in plural words, Random capitalization, incorrect tenses all show your incapability to communicate correctly.

?️ Confusing flow – If you don’t have structured and logical sections well formatted you will appear unorganised and messy.

?️ Generic Resume – These are the first to be trashed as it literally a no match and it will show that you are spamming. Being underqualified generally isn’t a deal-breaker, but a lack of effort is.

?️ Vague Clichés – Too many of hardworking, loyal, dedicated, team player etc. is a spoiler. Instead demonstrate them while explaining an accomplishment.

?️ Job Hopper – And, yes seeing that you have many jobs in a short period of time is enough to elevate a recruiter’s heart rate and dump your profile.

?️ Listing job duties with no accomplishments also leads to rejection.
