Garnish your Résumé with Quantified Achievements!

Which one of these lines sounds more impressive to you if you were reading a Résumé?

❎ Managed a recruitment team to grow the company’s headcount

—-or—–

✅ Managed a team of 7 technical and 2 non-technical recruiters and tripled the headcount of the company in less than 9 months.

The 1st version sounds positive, but when compared to the 2^nd version it’s ineffective. The 2^nd version which talks about results achieved with measured numbers excites any potential employer. It clearly stands out and exuberates credibility.

Anything that’s measurable and has metrics associated with it, has a high impact on the reader.
