RESUME SUMMARY FOR A CAREER SWITCH

A resume summary acts as a promotional prelude or blurb to the rest of your document. It’s the first section of your resume highlighting something that might not otherwise be obvious. As a career switcher use it wisely to direct the recruiter’s attention to the relevance of your experience with the job description and explain the context of your application and why you are a good fit for the role, even if your experience is in a completely different field.
