A RESUME WITH ERRORS WILL GET NOT GET YOU SHORTLISTED

Even though you may have taken the time to research the company or recruiter, prepare for the interview, and find a job that suits you, having a small typo, which may seem insignificant to you, may become the cause of your rejection.

If you don’t go the length to make a concentrated effort to ensure an 💯 error-free resume, you are offering signals to the recruiter:

💯  That you are not the right person for the job, because you can’t even write correctly & have bad communication skills.

💯  That you are not proactive and committed rather you are lazy & have a carefree attitude.

💯  That your attention to detail skills and leave room for errors in your work.

💯  That you are not computer literate, you didn’t use the simple spellcheck and grammar functionality.

💯 That you are inconsistent, haphazardly using various number formats, abbreviations & capitalizations.

The errors may be small but change the meaning significantly at times, for example: Definitely vs. Defiantly, Negotiated Vs Negated, Ensure vs. Insure, Its vs. It’s, Lead Vs Led, Manager vs. Manger, Principal vs. Principle, Pubic Vs Public, Recieve vs. Receive, Role Vs Roll, Their vs. They’re vs. There, Your vs. You’re, sometimes incorrect phone numbers or email address

Whatever the reason for the failure, an employer simply doesn’t care & will turn down your resume when it could have been your opportunity to excel.

And if others make these mistakes and you don’t, then you will be one to stand out over their applications.
