The key to a credible & solid accomplishment is if you can state it in quantifiable terms.
The accomplishments section should be considered a self-marketing tool to demonstrate your impact on potential employers.
You may have accomplished both qualitative goals (e.g., Reconciled sales accounts with receipts to enable easy access for stakeholders) and quantitative goals (e.g., Increased sales by over 15% by implementing social media marketing & organic growth)
Accomplishments are the precise actions you took in each situation, the skills, and abilities you applied, and the results you achieved. There is a lot that goes into writing an effective accomplishment statement, from understanding the difference between duties and accomplishments to providing quantitative support where applicable to understanding job descriptions and matching your results to their requirements.
As you seek to identify your accomplishments, it can be helpful to ask yourself the following questions:
💫What would be my selling points for my appraisal be?
💫Did I receive an award, special recognition, or a promotion?
💫Did I develop a new system or procedure that gave results?
💫Did I identify and resolve a problem that others missed?
💫Was I a member of a team that produced a specific result?
💫Did I reduce costs or increase revenue, whether directly or indirectly?
💫Has my leadership helped others achieve their goals?
💫Did I improve communication between groups/ clients?
