WHAT SHOULD YOU DO PRIOR TO AN INTERVIEW?

?Make sure you read your JD, your application, resume, and cover letter thoroughly.

?Make sure you do your research on the company and the interview panel members. If you don’t know their names, ask your interview scheduler.

?If it’s a physical meeting, plan your trip and if it’s a virtual meeting, make sure you’re connected to a hotspot in case the lights go out and your wifi stops working. Join at least 4 minutes in advance after testing the link. Make sure your camera and audio are working.

?Practice answering potential questions, including technical skills (tools), hard skills (techniques and methodologies), and soft skills (behavior and people).

?Maintain a professional appearance, be well-groomed, and display body language that exudes confidence.

?Make sure your phone is on silent and other distractions are kept away when participating in a virtual or a physical meeting

?Ask meaningful & relevant questions regarding what is required for success in the role rather than questions about leaves, salary, or appraisal period.

✍?I can help you create a professionally designed resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile that reflect your target role.
