MEASURABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE THE KEY TO A CREDIBLE RESUME

The key to a credible & solid resume accomplishment is if you can state it in measurable accomplishments.

The resume accomplishments section should be considered a self-marketing tool to demonstrate your impact to your next employer in manner that builds curiosity in them to know how you achieved them, leading to an interview call.

You may have accomplished both qualitative goals (e.g., Reconciled sales accounts with receipts to enable easy access for stakeholders) and quantitative goals (e.g., Increased sales by over 15% by implementing social media marketing & organic growth). Accomplishments are the precise actions you took in each situation, the skills, and abilities you applied, and the results you achieved.

There is a lot that goes into writing an effective resume with measurable accomplishment statements:

➡️STEP 3 Asking questions to yourself to identify your past performance.

Quantifiable accomplishments are recommended by all resume experts. Quantification is a powerful tool.  Examples like, “Grew regional sales from less than $2 million to $6 million within 2 years, exceeding quotas by an average of 15% each year” or “Closed an average of 50 customer escalations per week and consistently ranked in the top 10% for response time and volume” catch a potential employee’s eye, giving you more credibility as a candidate and help you stand out from the crowd. This type of language also helps employers understand the impact of your work in a more tangible way. Additionally, it can help to demonstrate the value you can bring to the organization.
